About Us

Cosmic is a quickly growing company with the mission to magnify potential, particularly YOUR potential! We invest heavily in professional development and promote from within. All our positions–from entry-level to managerial–are designed for regular promotions to 6-figure positions (and beyond!)

Cosmic aims to provide wholesome recreational activities to Kingman, and currently focuses on inflatables, yard games, party/event equipment, and community events. (We plan to expand with an indoor playground, roller rink, drive-in theater, mini-golf, and more. Staff for these locations will be primarily promoted from existing Cosmic positions.)

The 4-Step Guide to Getting Hired at Cosmic

1. Follow us on Facebook (Cosmic Bounce House, and Cosmic Event Rentals), Instagram, and our Indeed jobs board.

2. Rent something from us! Or at least come visit us when we’re at a community event (like First Friday, or the 928 Nite Market–check our Instagram Story). Get to know our current employees and ask them about their jobs!

3. Write us a letter detailing both how working at Cosmic will help you in your long-term goals and how your abilities may help grow Cosmic. You can send it to us via email, or upload it as a cover letter on the form above.

4. If you’re really motivated, look for an opportunity that Cosmic could take advantage of, and position yourself as the ideal person to carry out that opportunity. This is the essence of entrepreneurialism, and is the surest way to land a position with us (regardless of whether we are “now hiring” at the moment).

Now Seeking Entrepreneurs

Are you an entrepreneur at heart, looking to break into a career all your own? Do you see a need in the community, an opportunity in the market, or a solution to make available?

We know that getting started can be formidable, whether you have little experience, have a young family, or don’t have access to a large amount of capital, etc. We want to help make your dream a reality!

We’re here to be a resource and support our community members. It all starts with connecting. Connect with Talon Hicken, the owner of Cosmic, on LinkedIn and see what happens!

Our Operating System

We appreciate your interest in working with us!

Cosmic isn’t a typical workplace: it’s what we call an “Entrepreneur Engine”. Cosmic Members (our analog of ’employees’) are given more responsibility, education, and empowerment, and therefore have more expected of them than at a typical company. There is a heavy focus on entrepreneurship, employee development, leadership, and initiative.

A position at Cosmic is somewhere between continued on-the-job training, an internship/apprenticeship, and getting paid to go to school. Ideal candidates will be looking to dynamize business-minded careers, not just get a job.

At the same time, the entrepreneurship principles we focus on are put into practice in a fast-paced entertainment services environment (which is not compatible with every entrepreneur!) Team members are expected to perform at a high level in both service and entrepreneurship.

If this sounds like an environment you would thrive in, please keep in touch!

Cosmic is an equal opportunity employer, and does not discriminate against any individual or group. Applications are welcome from old and young, with any variety of related or unrelated experience.

Position Descriptions

Cosmic operates under a stewardship model. Team members will need to adopt a stewardship mentality in order to thrive and progress. Member Development Meetings can provide opportunities for training in this respect.

The Team Coach will outline broad position stewardships such as those listed below. The delegated stewardships are somewhat analogous to “job duties”. Team Leaders will aid in delegating and magnifying team member efforts. Specific tasks and responsibilities may change at any time under the direction of any of these Stewards.

A stewardship mentality is cultivated, not acquired. While developing this skill, it is your responsibility to ensure you adequately understand your duties. A written statement of duties can be requested but will always be superseded by verbal instruction and situational awareness. Consult a Supporting Leader for more information.

Members will often hold several positions simultaneously. Even when only one position is held, stewardships often overlap between positions, and it will benefit Members to be aware of all the following stewardships.

Cosmic reserves the right at any time, with or without notice, to alter or change stewardships and delegations, including but not limited to reassigning or transferring job positions, and removing, changing, or assigning additional job responsibilities.
